The Malaysian Association of Energy Service Companies (MAESCO) successfully conducted the Registered Energy Manager Training Course (REMTC) Type 1 – Session #12 from 8 to 12 June 2026.
The five-day programme brought together energy professionals from various industries seeking to enhance their competencies in energy management and fulfil the requirements for registration as Registered Energy Managers under the framework established by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
Throughout the training, participants were exposed to a comprehensive range of topics covering energy management principles, energy efficiency technologies, energy performance monitoring, regulatory requirements, and best practices for implementing energy-saving initiatives within organisations. The programme also incorporated practical case studies and interactive discussions to provide participants with valuable insights into real-world energy management applications.
As Malaysia continues to strengthen its commitment towards sustainable energy use and the implementation of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA) 2024, the role of competent energy managers has become increasingly important in helping organisations improve energy performance, reduce operating costs, and achieve sustainability goals.
MAESCO would like to express its appreciation to all participants, trainers, and supporting personnel for their commitment and active involvement throughout the programme. Their contributions ensured the successful completion of another REMTC session and further strengthened the pool of qualified energy management professionals in Malaysia.
MAESCO remains committed to supporting the development of energy management expertise through high-quality training programmes and professional development initiatives. We look forward to welcoming future participants to our upcoming REMTC and Continuing Development Programme (CDP) courses.
